Street Therapists Collective
– a practical workshop on recovery from trauma run by people who work individually and in groups with activists in Copenhagen.

Sharing experiences, debriefing techniques, trauma healing.
During this workshop the Street threapists will explain and demonstrate various ways to work with politically
active groups, to strengthen their sense of community and heal trauma and stress related issues.

The workshop will work with relevant issues for the participants.

Introduction of simple physical exercises, that helps the nervous system.   
Meditation techniques, that helps concentration, grounding and being present.
Conversation techniques, that helps participants ability to listen to, and express difficult emotional/ traumatic experiences.

It is the Street therapists experience, that groups and individuals engaged in political activism, can benefit greatly by working with the difficult emotions and experiences, that often are a result of politically active work. The individual is healed, and the group gets stronger and can work more effectively.
